This will be our sixth season together – three of those at Barnham before our transition to Pagham for our third coming season.
In this this time we have gone from ‘F League’ to ‘B League’, having rejected promotion to the ‘A League’ this season as we think it may be a year too early for us. Every season, as teams do, we’ve probably recruited 3 or 4 and allowed a similar number to leave.
We’ve a brilliant bunch of lads who are capable of winning the league this season and that will be our aim. They have developed really well year-on-year as boys and as players. But coming into an Under 14 season we now feel there is a bit more of an ‘adult’ feel about the game and the competitiveness is a level up.
We are excited by the season ahead and what can possibly be achieved as a group.
