Pugh’s team to face Horsham in Final
Our Under 15 White made the short trip to Bognor Regis Town FC at the start of February with the chance of reaching the County Cup Final.
Their semi-final opponents were Burgess Hill Town in what turned out to be an entertaining game.
With the score 0-0 at half time, Manager Ash Pugh’s team fought back from 1-0 down and 2-1 down to score twice in a two minute spell to win the match 3-2 thanks to goals from Chase (2) and Jack Morris.
Ash said after the game, “I am immensely proud of this team. The heart and desire they play with is unmatched. They all work extremely hard out of football with added runs and gym sessions. Both myself and Jay
demand high standards in training and games. A big thank you to the parents who drive them across the County and a massive thank you to both Sara Keates and Ben Bingham and the Pagham family. Thank you to all who come and support us as we had over 200 there on Sunday. This group is very special!”
The final will take place at Lancing Football Club on 12th April as they face Horsham in the Final.
