
Since forming in June, Pagham White U8 has embarked on a remarkable journey of growth, learning, and teamwork. From the initial trials to competing in the league, the team has shown immense dedication and progress, reflecting the hard work of the players.
In June, the focus was on teaching the children the basic skills of football, including passing, dribbling, shooting, and understanding the fundamentals of teamwork. The players, all of whom were new to football, embraced the challenges with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
The team played three summer friendly matches, which were invaluable in providing the children with their first taste of competitive football. While all three games resulted in losses, they served as a learning platform, helping the team identify areas for improvement and boosting their experience.
Since the league season began, Our little superstars have competed in 9 games, achieving a commendable record of 5 wins and 4 losses. The victories are a testament to the players’ hard work, improving skills, and growing confidence on the pitch. Even in defeat, the children have shown resilience and determination, continually learning from each game.
The players have demonstrated excellent progress in applying the skills they have been taught, as well as understanding tactical aspects of the game. Their teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship have been outstanding, making them a credit to the club.
